So where is a good starting point when you want to profit from option trading? That's quite a normal problem for a new trader to be confronted with. You can find several courses to choose from that will promise you spectacular earnings if you just adopt their 'secret tried and tested' system. But you end up finding that, after spending around a thousand dollars for exclusive membership to the club, the trading signals don't seem to be so easy to adhere to (on an emotional level at least) while the anxiety levels are quite high.
I have seen a number of these courses - even paid large sums for some of them - but in the end, found that the selection process for entering trades continues to be rather subjective in most instances. You 'pull the trigger' believing that you've followed the rules, but have overlooked (or haven't had the patience to wait for) a couple of signals that didn't line up for it to be the "perfect setup".
I've come to the conclusion that the type of options trading training that will enable me to generate genuine and steady income, needs to have the following non-negotiable components.
1. It has to be a low risk system that only requires about thirty minutes per day to operate. It must also be successful at delivering steady gains, every month.
2. The selection process for entering trades needs to be straightforward, quick and easy to execute. No subjectivity please!
3. The options trading training must be delivered in a format that's easy to absorb and the concepts not difficult to understand. I prefer video presentations to books because they're much easier to absorb and I can "see" what is being taught in a more effective way.
4. The training must include all of the fundamental elements of options trading so that it builds knowledge "from the ground up" and provides a sure foundation for the more advanced parts of the program.
5. I'd like some 'real' bonuses included, especially if they could be worth just as much as the course itself - with regards to likely profit outlook. I define 'bonuses' as additional material that is supplemental to but not part of the primary options trading training program.
6. There has to be the opportunity to ask questions of the trainer and request clarification about anything you don't fully grasp. I would also like this arrangement to have no expiry date and to be able under these conditions to move forward through the training at a pace which works for me.
7. I would prefer immediate access to the training as soon as I've paid for it, rather than waiting for books, DVDs or a live seminar date to arrive. I would also like the cost to be very reasonable and believe it to be 'value for money'.
The ideal kind of options trading training is a good investment in your future. The financial markets are here to stay and this means that mastering how to trade them profitably is an evergreen business - one which you can pass onto your children. On the subject of options, there are three certainties - (1) All stocks go up and down in price (2) All options fluctuate in price and (3) All options expire at some point. Don't discount the significance of the last point. If you understand these fundamental and unchangeable principles and come across some training that teaches you how to use them to your advantage then you will have an advantage that will truly allow you to trade with confidence.
